Waithe (Emmy Award-winning writer, producer, and actor for The Chi, Queen & Slim, Twenties, and Master of None) and Akers (costume designer for projects including Beyonce’s Black is King and founder of Black Owned Everything) sit down to discuss Black representation in the fashion industry, and share their experiences as Black female creators and how they are using creativity to make an impact in today’s world. Cleo Wade, poet and author (Heart Talk: Poetic Wisdom for a Better Life and Where to Begin: A Small Book about Your Power to Create Big Change in Our Crazy World) and Destinee Ross-Sutton, an art curator, advisor, and artist advocate (Christie's selling art exhibition "Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud)") meet for an intimate conversation on the importance of creativity in their daily lives, their hunger to use it to affect change, and how art is used to connect and communicate shared values. Through their conversation, they find inspiration in both their commonalities and differences, encouraging one another to use their voices and push art forward.

Hear from Emmy Award– and Golden Globe Award–winning actress America Ferrera and artist/director Petra Collins, as they discuss the impact that quarantine has had on their creative processes, how they’ve used creativity and their personal voice to address important issues, and how the paths forged by those before them have made an impact on their individual lives, their creative disciplines, and their communities. Through their talk, Collins and Ferrera find inspiration in their commonalities, their differences, and how each uses their platform and craft to make an impact beyond the four corners of the frame or screen.
