Save the practice files and open them in Your Work tab in Photoshop on your iPad.
Try some of these techniques.
Prepare your brush.
Tap and hold the Brush icon to see the available brushes. Set the brush size and color by tapping and sliding to get the settings you want. Then tap and hold the icon with three dots for more settings to fine-tune your brush.
Draw a line.
Embellish the artwork with some wavy lines. Add a new layer and start drawing with the brush.
Go over and under.
Make the line appear as if it is winding through the shapes. Tap the mask icon, then draw with the brush to mask, or hide, parts of the line.
Draw a shadow.
Add depth to the line by giving it a drop shadow. Duplicate the line layer then select the Move tool and drag it down to offset the new line from the original.
Finesse the effect.
With the new line layer selected, choose the Layer options and lower the Opacity. Then tap the Clipping Mask icon to contain the shadow within the shapes.
