Save the practice files and open them in Your Work tab in Photoshop on your iPad.
Try some of these techniques.
Choose a photo.
We provided a photo in the practice file, but if you’d like to use your own, tap the Place Photo icon and choose one from Photos.
Get ready to draw.
Liven up your photo with colorful illustrations. First, add a new layer for drawing, then choose the Lasso tool.
Make a selection.
Draw a shape or design with the Lasso tool.
Scribble, scribble, scribble.
Now you can color with reckless abandon. Choose the Brush tool, pick a color, and brush away. Drawing with the Lasso tool ensures you’ll stay within the lines. Deselect the shape when you’re done.
Add linework.
Accent your illustrations with loose lines to create edges and borders. Choose the Brush tool, then tap the icon with the three dots to open the Brush settings and increase the Smoothing before you draw.
