Add your own image.
To replace the photo in any template, right-click the image layer — somewhere other than the image thumbnail — in the Layers panel, choose Replace Contents, and find another image on your computer.
Insert your story.
Promote your business or engage your followers with custom text. Double-click the text layer icon and type your own message.
Color your brand.
Change the color of the shapes to fit your style. Double-click the thumbnail on a shape layer and choose a new color from the Color Picker.
Prepare for launch.
Preview the animation before you share it. Choose Window > Workspace > Motion to show the Timeline and press the Spacebar to play the animation. Then export the 15-second animation (File > Export > Render Video). The default export settings (Format: H.264; Preset: High Quality) work well for Instagram.
Save the exported video so that you can access it from your phone. Then upload your story to social media.
Save the practice files and open them in Photoshop on your desktop or iPad.
