Bring illustrations to life.

Angela draws different parts of her characters on separate layers in Adobe Photoshop. Then she imports her PSD into After Effects so she can animate each layer.

Keep things tidy.

Angela also uses groups of layers called precompositions (or "precomps" for short) to animate more complicated parts of her characters and help keep her project files organized. Double-click the [Pre-comp WINGS] layer to see how she created the flapping wings of her butterfly character.
