Designing a logo or brand identity is just the first step. Give context to your brilliant designs with this set of custom Photoshop mockups from Supply Family to give your next presentation or portfolio some serious polish. (And be sure to try out their first set, too, in case you missed it).
Download the free assets, then dive in with these simple step-by-step instructions.
Get started.
Let’s get started with the first mockup. Open the file “SupplyFamily_A-frame-mockup.psd” in Photoshop. This will be the main workspace for your design.
Open the Smart Object layer.
Head over to the Layers panel, and open up the folder titled “Wood – A-Frame.” Then, double-click on the thumbnail in the Smart Object layer labeled “Your Design Here.” That opens a new file called “Your Design Here.psb.”
Add your design.
In “Your Design Here.psb,” import an image of your choosing into the artboard. Then go to File > Save.
Complete the effect.
Go back to the first file you opened, “SupplyFamily_A-frame-mockup.psd,” to see the mockup with your artwork now in place.
Now try out the whole kit of mockups from Supply Family.
Grab all three mockups in Photoshop.
Bonus: Give it some color.
Add custom colors to further personalize your mockup. In the Layers panel, open each folder to view the customizable layers, which are keyed in green. Double-click on the thumbnail of the layer you’d like to customize, then specify your color choice.
All set. Keep experimenting to create a color combination that works best for you.
