Illustrator on the iPad gives you freedom to create wherever you go. Using your own artwork as a brush lets you take your creativity even further. Paint with a leafy vine, multicolored stripes, geometric shapes, or any other graphic you create. Best of all, no messy cleanup.

Your own graphic as a brush? That’s a work of art.

Start with your art.

Select your graphic and tap the Paint Brush in the toolbar. At the bottom of the Brush panel, tap plus (+) and choose New Art Brush.

Add to your toolbox.

Give your brush a name and tap the Save brush button.

Put your new brush to work.

Anytime you return to the Paint Brush tool, you can select your custom art brush and start painting.
