Watch the video above to see Spanish illustrate Ivan PIneros begin with a photo of a dancer in motion and end with an illustration that almost leaps off the screen. In between, Pineros demonstrates his drawing process: He imports the reference photo into Adobe Photoshop on the iPad, chooses a thick brush to capture the leading lines of the body’s movement, moves to a slightly smaller brush to add shapes and volume, and finishes with color and other details.
