Make skin glow.

Follow Michelle’s simple technique for achieving a glowing skin effect — without makeup. First duplicate your footage and place it above the original clip in the sequence.

Desaturate and go extreme.

Zero out the saturation in the Basic Correction section of the Lumetri Color panel to remove the color. Do the same for the highlights, shadows, and blacks. Next, bring the whites up as high as you can. It’ll look extreme, and very shiny, but that’s what you want.

Isolate and soften the highlights and shadows.

Apply the Luma Key effect and adjust the Threshold and Cutoff values. There are no rules here; do whatever makes your eyes happy. Next, add the Gaussian Blur effect and adjust it to your liking.

Blend everything together.

This is where the magic happens. In the Effect Controls panel, select the Lighten blend mode and then reduce Opacity to perfect the look.
