Create show-stopping social posts with a Library of graphics.
RESOURCES
Bringing big style to your brand is easy with the help of Libraries. Start by creating a handful of bespoke graphics in Photoshop, then add them to a Library. You can open that same Library in Illustrator and design stylish social posts on a grid of artboards. Watch this quick video, then follow the steps below using the practice files in the Resources box — there’s one for each app — to develop ideas of your own.
Tip: Put all your assets in one Library or keep distinct Libraries for each of your projects.
Step 1: Design the pieces.
In Photoshop, create a set of graphic elements. Experiment with brushes, images, shapes, and textures. (Tip: Keep each element on its own layer.)
Step 2: Move layers to Libraries.
Add the graphic elements to the Library by clicking and dragging each one from the Layers panel to the Libraries panel.
Step 3: Switch apps seamlessly.
No need to copy and paste here. You’ll find that the Library you just created in Photoshop has automatically transferred to Illustrator.
Step 4: Create stand-out social.
Drag and drop elements from the Libraries panel onto your artboards. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your custom textures, colors, and photos.
