Edit color and tone.
Open the Edit panel and make some general edits in the Light panel to bring out the richness in a dark photo.
Draw the viewer’s eye.
Apply a vignette using the settings in the Effects panel. Open the Vignette menu to fine-tune the look with additional adjustments.
Select the subject.
Choose Subject from the Masking options to focus your edits on the person in the photo. Vanessa uses the Light and Color panels to make the subject stand out more.
Add detail to the sky.
Fix a washed-out sky with more focused edits. Click the + button in the Masking panel and choose Sky. Vanessa adjusts the Light and Color settings to make the sky more interesting.
