Accessing betas requires updating your Creative Cloud apps from your desktop.

Start in your Creative Cloud desktop app.

Open the desktop app and click the Apps icon in the panel.

Choose your betas.

In the Apps panel, click the Beta apps icon to see all your options. Find the app you want and click Install. You can run beta builds side by side with the release versions of the apps.

In the upper-right corner of your beta app UI, click either the Beaker icon or the Provide Feedback icon to report a bug, request a new feature, or visit the Adobe beta community.

Frequently asked questions

Beta apps are installed in their own folders, separate from the release versions of the apps. For example, the Photoshop beta app folder will be labeled Adobe Photoshop (Beta). This ensures that you can evaluate beta apps without affecting the work you’re doing with the release versions. Beta apps have separate preferences and default user documents folders that won’t change the user settings in your existing installations.

To personalize your experience and improve our products, Adobe may collect the following information:

System information, such as devices, operating system, amount of memory installed, and screen resolution
Adobe product information, such as version number
Information about your documents, such as the number of pages and unique document identifiers (but not the content in your documents)
Document usage information, such as how many times you open a document
How you interact with the apps and how the apps interact with your content, including the features you use and the options you select

Your regular app settings don’t apply to beta apps. If you don’t want to share beta app usage information with Adobe, you can continue to use the release versions of our apps.

Yes. Here are the steps:

1.      Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
2.     Select the Account icon in the upper right, and then select Preferences.
3.     Select Apps, and then turn on Auto-update for your beta app.

Keep in mind that if you’re an enterprise customer, your organization may have disabled the auto-update option. Contact your IT department for assistance.
